Casey Hospital
Casey Hospital has a dedicated Children's Ward which is staffed by doctors in training and experienced nursing staff.The ward has both medical and surgical patients. Most of the surgical patients are elective ENT and general paediatric surgery. The medical patients are usually admitted from the emergency department or referred from other hospitals. There are 7 consultant paediatricians caring for the medical patients.
The surgical patients have a post-op follow up in the outpatient department at Casey or in the surgeon's private consulting rooms. The medical patients requiring follow up see the consultant paediatrican who cared for them in the hospital in their private consulting rooms or their
