Monash Medical Centre Clayton has two children’s wards, known as 41 North and 42 North.
41 North is a 26 bed medical ward, and also caters for child oncology, ages 0-12.
42 North is a 26-bed ward and caters for adolescent/children, surgical, children with renal problems and Oncology, ages 13-18.
We do not offer private rooms for children on either ward; rather single rooms are used on a medical needs basis.
There are many services available within the hospital which may assist in the ongoing management and care of your child and family during their admission.
Monash Children's at Monash medical Centre also offers a full range of tertiary services including Monash Newborn, Monash Children's Sleep Centre, Child and Adolescent Mental Health and the Children's Cancer Centre.
