Paediatric counselling
This service provides counselling for children aged 0-12 years old and mothers suffering from post natal depression or symptoms. It does not provide psychological testing, court reports nor see children where there has been sexual assault.ProgramsThe following programs and groups are available under this service:Toddler matters (walking to three years of age)Provides a multidisciplinary assessment and therapy for children walking up to three years old referred for speech therapy, counselling, occupational therapy or physiotherapy.ReferralPrivate practitioners or early intervention services where appropriate.Cost$5.00 per group sessionDevelopmental Play Therapy Group - CranbourneAn eight to 10 week course that focuses on helping parents to understand and manage their child’s challenging behaviour and communication skills.For children from two years up to school age who are experiencing complex behavioural or emotional problems along with communication difficulties.
