After your treatment - long term follow-up
Long Term Follow-up (LTF) care is of high importance in cancer care and prevention. PICS runs a statewide service for for survivors of childhood cancer. Following you treatment you will likely attend a Long Term Follow-up clinic to help ensure your ongoing health. At the end of your treatment , the LTF team together with you and your family and the oncologist, will establish what level of LTF care is required and where it should be accessed (hospital, regional centre, G.P or community paediatrician).
LTF clinics are held at the Monash Children's Cancer Centres at Monash Medical Centre Clayton and the RCH and designated regional centres.
