Tigers win young fans - Monash Leader
SOME kind-hearted Tigers brought smiles to the faces of several ill children last week for the inaugural Southern Health and Richmond Football Club 2010 Monash Children’s Footy Handball Competition.
Footballers Kelvin Moore and Shane Tuck took time out from their training to give some pointers to patients Storm, Bulend and Tyron, who are too sick to attend a real game at the MCG.
A footy handball target was set up in the hospital playground and children matched their handball skills with Moore and Tuck.
Prizes were given to all participants.
