Heart to Heart at Monash Children's

Monash Children’s at Clayton today received a visit from two of the stars of Melbourne Heart, the A-league’s newest team and their mascot Ticker.

Rutger Worm and Alex Terra – both highly regarded international players before joining the Hearts, impressed staff, visitors and young patients with their friendly and easy going personalities.

The excited kids played soccer with the players then lined up for autographs and received some great Hearts merchandise.

Alex, Rutger and Ticker then visited some of the children still in bed, stopping for a chat and handing out some Hearts goodies.

6 lucky winners from Westpac Bank's colouring competition, which ran over a two week period at Monash Children’s, will attend the Melbourne Heart versus Melbourne Victory game, running onto the field with a Hearts player.

Monash Children’s would like to thank Westpac, Melbourne Heart, Alex, Rutger and Ticker for their generousity - the Hearts certainly have some new fans.
