Monash Children's celebrates National Children's Week

Monash Children's is preparing for a massive week of activities as part of National Children's Week from October 24-28.

As part of this special week, designed to give our patients and their families some respite from the hospital environment, Monash Children's will play host to a visit from 9 varieties of animals from Healesville Sanctuary, Batman and Friends, Star Wars characters and other performers yet to be confirmed.

Event organizer and Southern Health Media Manager Suzana Talevski announced Monash Children's and Healesville Sancuary have come together for a very special event on Tuesday.

"Monash Children's will play host to a range of baby animals in a first of its kind here at Clayton and we hope to make this a regular event."

In other news, word is out the Batman has officially left Gotham City for his special visit to Clayton.

"We are currently trying to find an appropriate car spot for the Batmobile," Ms Talevski said.
