Infection Control

Children being admitted to hospital have a low immune system and will generally pick up further infection easily. To minimise this risk we ask that on entering the ward you clean your hands with Avagard. Relatives and other people wanting to visit should refrain if not feeling well. Further exposure to infection may delay your child's recovery.
