As a parent/guardian of a child undergoing or receiving health care and treatment by our Hospital you need to know what to expect from these services and its staff. It is also important that you understand what your responsibilities are when receiving these services at one of our facilities.

Southern Health has produced a brochure, "Your Rights and Responsibilities", which outlines your child's rights and responsibilities as a consumer of health care services at Southern Health and Monash Children's.

These brochures are readily available at all the hospitals. If you would like further information or a copy of the brochure, please ask the ward clerk for a copy.
