When did we beginThe Monash Kids Support Group was established in 1993 and since then equipment purchases have totalled more than $100,000.![]() Funds have come from subscriptions, donations and special events associated with the Monash Children’s at Monash Medical Centre. Monies have also supported the Overseas Children’s Fund and Play Education Fund. What is it?The Monash Kids is a group of people with a common interest in the needs of children at Monash Medical Centre.Who can join?Membership is invited from any person or group interested in helping support the Monash Children’s.What is its mission?The mission of the Monash Kids is to establish and enhance a mutually beneficial relationship between its members and the Monash Medical Centre by assisting wit h fun draising for special projects and equipment for the Monash Children’s.Who organises it?An elected committee assumes responsibility for the group’s activities under the guidance of the Fundraising Department.How do I join? A membership form is available from the Fundraising Department. Membership is currently $20 for individuals, $35 for families, and $50 for groups per year. All fees are tax deductible. Monash Kids gratefully acknowledge the support of generous donations over the years from the former Oakleigh Council, the Variety Club, local Neighbourhood Watch Groups, All Souls Opportunity Shop - Sandringham, the Patchwork Group and individuals.
